The Awareness Banquet is one of KAC DFW Chapter's signature events. It brings together members of the Korean American community and those in the wider American community to gather together and celebrate the organization's civic accomplishments done throughout the year. Keynote Speakers for the KAC Annual Banquets

Suzanne Scholte

Suzanne Scholte is a world’s leading activists in the North Korea Human Rights Movement, having worked for 20 years to promote the freedom, human rights and dignity of the North Korean people. Currently, she serves as President of the Defense Forum Foundation; Chairman, North Korea Freedom Coalition; Vice-Chairman, Committee for Human Rights in North Korea; and Honorary Chairman, Free North Korea Radio.

Mark L Keam

Delegate Mark L. Keam is a fourth term member of the Virginia House of Delegates. In 2009, Mark became the first Asian-born immigrant and the first Korean American to be elected to any state-level office in Virginia.

Larry C. Kinard was the President for the National Korean War Veterans Associations, Inc. (KWVA) from 2013 to 2016. He is currently serving as Senior Advisor to the National Board of Directors.
